Kassia Portas – The Pole Dancing Therapist
Kassia Portas has been pole dancing since 2010 and instructing at Spin City Bristol since 2012. She has been trained through the Spin City Instructor Training and now coaches competitive, instructors and amateur level students.
Kassia is a Sports Rehabilitator (Bsc) and a Level 5 Sports Therapist. She combines her knowledge of the body and pole dancing mechanics to give her clients the best treatment possible. However, she has lots of experience working with people from non sporting and other sporting backgrounds.
Kassia is known for her combinations and technical teaching style, she can spot the smallest corrections to help her students perfect their tricks. She is a 4 star approved instructor through the Pole Dance Community.
Kassia runs The Bristol Pole Championships and the UK Professional Pole Championships. She has competed herself over the years which gives her a great insight into the competitive world and loves helping others when going through this experience.

Kassia is a qualified Therapist. She holds a Level 4 Diploma in Holistic Massage, a Level 5 Diploma in Sports & Remedial massage and a certificate in Medical Acupuncture. She is currently studying Sports Rehabilitation BSc(Hons) at University West of England.
Kassia aims to combine these skills, creating safe and knowledgeable training environments for her client and students.
